Pre-move survey :
EXPAT MOVERS will send it’s relocation specialist to your residence to assess the size & weight of your HHG and will discuss with you about the packing/moving schedule, will listen to your needs, introduce our insurance protection programme and will eventually remit to you our residence to residence estimate.
Inbound Shipments :
Because we are established in your country of residence overseas, EXPAT MOVERS will undertake to arrange for your HHG to be packed in the country of origin and moved all the way to your residence in Singapore. Give EXPAT MOVERS your overseas home address and phone number, so that our affiliate will contact you under EXPAT MOVERS supervision . EXPAT MOVERS Singapore will invoice you or your employer for the inbound door to door move.
Crating Services
EXPAT MOVERS was first known to the Expat Community as a Specialist of Packing Fine Arts & Antiques, and was frequently appointed by the Singapore Antique Dealers as their preferred packer. We have since kept this speciality and during our pre-move surveys we will decide with our Clients which one of it’s fragile and valuable items needs crating, such as : paintings, antique pieces, glass-tops, pianos, marble pieces, chinaware etc…
Transit Insurance
Information and instructions concerning transit insurance:
- Your mover has arranged a special programme of insurance underwritten by a large and reputable Insurer.
- Even though you are entrusting your household goods and personal effects to EXPAT MOVERS, there is a possibility of loss or damage while your shipment is exposed to the vigors of international transport. Our liability for loss or damage is limited and you are encouraged to purchase insurance protection.
- This insurance programme is specially designed to insure household goods and personal effects for both domestic and international transit.
Storage:
Whether your residence is not ready yet when your container arrives , or because you are taking a long holiday break before moving in your new home, EXPAT MOVERS will make it’s storage space available to you, at a competive price.
